- The previous rule applies to shaving, depilation and all kinds of epilation: with these procedures you again break the integrity of the protective layer of the skin.
- On the day of your visit to the solarium, do not use toilet water and deodorant, exclude perfumed creams and body lotions. Also wash off any cosmetics from the face.
- Use the remedies offered to you: glasses on eyes, stick on nipples and especially large moles and a cap for hair.

- After completing the procedure, refrain from taking a shower for two hours so that the effect is fixed on the skin and not washed off with water.
Do not forget about these rules and reasonable precautions: excessive enthusiasm for visits to the solarium only hurts you! If after the first session you feel bad (dizziness, nausea, fever), you should not return to the solarium again.
How to tan even faster
In general, if you follow all the rules and use the necessary tools, the tan will lie quite quickly and accurately. But if there really is no time, and a bronze skin tone is a necessity, you can use additional tips that will help enhance the desired effect.
- Regularly attend sessions. Since you’ve taken on giving your skin a shade, like a person who has returned from a holiday from hot countries, do not miss the scheduled sessions. Two days passed from the first - forward to the second. This is the only way you REALLY tan.
- Between the sessions it will be good to use cream with vitamins A and E: they fix the shade, not allowing it to “peel off” too quickly (the tan obtained in the tanning bed peels off faster than the natural one).
- Eat orange foods — carrots, pumpkins, persimmons, oranges — they contain beta-carotene, which supports your skin tone.
- Use a vertical solarium, instead of the usual horizontal. Lamps in the first emit more α-rays, which is why the tan burns faster and more evenly. A session under such radiation should not last longer than ten minutes. And in terms of hygiene, visiting a vertical tanning bed is much more pleasant.
- Use bronzator. Your skin will not turn golden and will not overflow even from regular trips to the solarium. If you want to give it a slight pleasant shimmer and deepen the shade of tan, then bronzers will come to your rescue.
- Do not refuse the creams and lotions offered to you by the employees of the tanning salon: they are made with the addition of special fixative substances, thanks to which the tanning effect will last longer.
