Make a trap for flies, taking the usual food film and a glass jar of 0.5-1 l. (if you wish, you can replace it with a clear glass for juice).
- Choose a container of a suitable size, fill it with water, retreating from the edges by 5-6 cm.
- Mix a large amount of granulated sugar with dishwashing detergent, pour in apple vinegar with a concentration of 6–9%.
- Send the mixture in a jar of water, wait for the sugar crystals to dissolve, mix thoroughly.
- Cut a piece of food film measuring 10 * 10 cm., Attach it to the neck of the jar, closing the entire opening.
- In cases where the polyethylene does not fit snugly, wrap the neck with tape / tape or secure with a rubber band.
- Take a ballpoint pen or kitchen scissors, make a round hole in the surface of the film. Through this hole the insect will get inside the tank.
- Place the trap can on the window sill or another sunny place, wait until the fly climbs inside.
Method number 2. Plastic bottle
Another option for effective catching flies is the use of a homemade trap from a plastic bottle.
- Prepare a 1-2-liter bottle, unscrew the cap, cut the upper part of the container (coat hanger) with a knife or scissors.
- Conditionally divide the bottle into 3 parts. Fill the first one with sugar (preferably cane), pour warm running water into the second, wait for the granules to dissolve.
- Add blue food coloring to the composition so that the mixture becomes saturated. This shade attracts flies the most.
- If it is not possible to use blue color, add any other color to the sugar water, except yellow, orange and red. The listed shades, on the contrary, frighten off insects.
- An alternative to the above means for bait flies is a mixture of dishwashing detergent, granulated sugar and vinegar in a ratio of 1: 3: 1.
- After the mixture is poured into the bottle, take the cut-off part of the container (neck with hangers), turn it over and put it in the bottle with the composition. As a result, you get a kind of funnel.
- As a result, flies will easily fall into the cavity of the bottle, but will hardly get out of it. Put the container on the windowsill or in places of insects.

- Prepare an enamel pan, mix in one composition 65 gr. cane or beet sugar and 125 ml. wedge syrup. Put on the stove, bring the mixture to dissolve the granules of sand.
- Remove the container from the heat, cool it, lower each strip into the prepared liquid. Leave the tape for 8-10 hours so that they are thoroughly soaked. After the expiration date, remove the strips, hold them over the sink, so that the glass has excess liquid. Hang from the ceiling in a room with a large accumulation of insects.

- Do not make sudden movements, flies clearly catch the slightest vibrations. Slowly hold the mug and cover it with an insect.
- Hold the glass close to the surface, slowly begin to push the cardboard under the neck so that the fly is trapped. Turn the mug over, the sheet will serve as a lid.
