Aromatic lamps can rightly be considered a universal method of therapy. They are used to give the room unobtrusive light atmosphere and comfort, which allows to achieve the normalization of the psycho-emotional state. Aroma lamps help to relax, collect thoughts and improve health due to the prevention of acute respiratory infections and other diseases. Modern people are increasingly resorting to such therapy, but not many know how to properly use such an attribute. Consider in order important aspects.

Aromatic lamps are also called burners, the device is a glass vessel (evaporation thicket) connected to the arch. According to the idea, the arch can be replaced by a decorative case - the place of installation of the candle or the heating zone.

Selection of essential oils is carried out with regard to personal preferences, like making a perfumery composition. In the future, you can easily navigate in all the variety of flavors, but for now we give basic recipes,with which it is worth starting experiments.

  1. In the cold season, use a fragrant composition for the prevention of disease. A great example of an effective blend is the combination of tea tree, eucalyptus, lemon / grapefruit esters. Also it is worth looking at the option of esters of sandalwood, bergamot, mandarin and geranium.
  2. To improve the emotional state during the working day, it is worth buying rosemary and lemon essential oils. The option is suitable for both office space and for an office in an apartment / house.
  3. To create a relaxed atmosphere with a touch of romance in the bedroom, add melissa, neroli, lavender, ylang-ylang, yarrow to the lamp.
  4. For rooms with a large crowd of people (living room, reception), a combination of essential oils of lemongrass, ginseng, birch bark, roses, orange and petitgrain will suit.
  5. If you want to soothe the child before bedtime or create a fabulous atmosphere in the nursery, give preference to cinnamon and citrus fruits (grapefruit, lemon, orange, tangerine).
  6. If the room smells of mustiness, there is a smell of tobacco smoke or pets, use the composition of esters of rosemary, lemongrass, mint / lemon balm, citronella.
  7. An excellent tool for intimacy will be a mixture of essential oils of ginger, rose, ylang-ylang, oak bark and willow. If desired, ylang-ylang and oak bark can be replaced with lemongrass and limemet.

  1. Before carrying out the procedure, ventilate the room for half an hour to get rid of odors that impede perception. After that, close the vents, windows and doors so that the aroma from the oil burner does not evaporate into “nowhere”.
  2. When you choose a place to install the lamp, do not place it on surfaces that can easily ignite (plastic, foam, oilcloth, tablecloth, etc.). Make sure that the device is located in a zone inaccessible to children.
  3. Rinse the vessel with running water, turn the neck down to see unfiltered liquid glass. Type in the capacity of 350-400 ml. clean water.
  4. Choose a blend of aromatic oils or use only one ingredient. Add ether to water at the rate of 2 drops of the composition per 100 ml. fluid.
  5. Turn on the all-in-one in the socket or set fire to the tablet if the lamp is mechanical. After 10-15 minutes you will feel the characteristic aroma.Do not forget that the duration of the first therapy should not exceed the mark of 30 minutes.

Important!
It should be understood that the esters suitable for you may not be comparable with the health of relatives or friends. If someone is allergic to incoming ingredients, remove this oil from the list. Aromatherapy should bring joy to all those present, if you plan to enjoy the session together.

  1. Watch the health of not only your own person, but also the people around you. If one of those present has asthma or other similar diseases, be careful with therapy.
  2. Watch carefully for the addition of esters, their number should not exceed the norm. Otherwise, you risk getting instead of vigor and positive depression, mixed with a hint of irritability. Physical endurance and mental activity will also significantly deteriorate. Total should be in moderation.
  3. For liquids, add only warm filtered or bottled water.Otherwise, in the process of heating the vessel may burst due to a sharp temperature drop.
  4. Keep the lamp in view so as not to allow too much evaporation. When you notice that the water has become less, add more liquid, the device should not work in this state.
  5. If you have sneaky pets in your house, watch them throughout the entire session or do not let your pets into the room where the therapy is being conducted. There are cases when a cat or ferret drops the aroma lamp, causing a danger. The same applies to children, the device must be out of their reach.
  6. After each procedure, wash the aromatic lamp with a soapy solution, and then rinse with a mixture of vinegar and water (50 ml. Of acetic solution 3-6% per 1 liter of liquid). Such a move will help to further avoid mixing the components.
  7. In the absence of an allergic reaction to the constituent essential oils, you will cope with a number of problems, such as chronic fatigue and insomnia, general malaise, the development of influenza and ARVI. In addition, aromatherapy helps tidy up memory, mental and physical activity, psychological state.Very often the device is used in the fight against protracted depression, stress, fainting.

Using an aromatic lamp is not difficult if you follow the basic recommendations. Make sure that none of those present have allergies, remove the device away from children and pets. Choose ethers based on preferences, monitor the general state during the first session.
