A chandelier of similar material is used in the kitchen, in the living room and in the bathroom, so it needs regular cleaning. The main types of pollution are dust, greasy deposits and soot, traces of insects, lime from steam. 1. Ammonia. Dissolve in 275 ml. warm purified water 30 ml. ammonia (if desired, ammonia can be replaced by ammonium hydroxide). 2. Drinking soda and soap. Grate a third of a bar of laundry soap (72%) on a fine grater, mix the chips with 35 grams. drinking soda. Pour in a glass of warm water, gently lather the composition with your hands. Dampen a soft, lint-free cloth in the prepared solution, process each element. At the end of the procedure, place the parts on a flat surface so that the glass has excess moisture. Dry with a clean towel.
3. Acetic solution. Pour warm water into the basin, add 45 ml. table vinegar solution with a concentration of 9% (not to be confused with the essence). Dip the crystal pendants or the whole chandelier into the prepared preparation, remove the remaining fat, lime and soot with a gauze cloth. If dirt is old, apply a tampon and wait about 1 minute, then remove the remnants with gauze.
7. To effectively clean the bronze elements, use a combination of tooth powder and ammonia.Combine the listed components in one composition, mixing them in equal proportions. After that, scoop a small amount of the mass on the gauze fabric, process each bronze element. After cleaning, wait about 5-10 minutes, then remove the excess with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
8. To remove the dust, greasy deposits and soot, decorative components of the chandelier (bulges, carvings, crevices, etc.), use an unnecessary toothbrush. Dampen it in ammonia or ammonium hydroxide, carefully wipe all patterns. After processing the parts, rub them with a microfiber cloth, pre-wetting it in vinegar (concentration 6-9%). At the end of manipulations, wipe the product with a towel, leave until moisture evaporates.
9. After the cleaning done, collect the crystal chandelier in its original position. Do not rush to turn on the electricity, wait about 2-3 hours, so that the parts and elements are completely dry. Such a move will help avoid closures. It is important to understand that the wet processing of the chandelier can take a day, taking into account the cleaning and drying, so it is recommended to start the procedure early in the morning.
10. It is possible to wash the crystal chandelier without removing it from the ceiling with a special compound for this type of material. Get a spray or aerosol in the “Household” or “World of Light” store, lay a plastic wrap on the floor, sprinkle a chandelier and all its elements. After applying the composition, wait for a certain interval (the exact time is indicated in the instructions), then spray warm filtered water from the sprayer. As a result of such actions, all the dust will drain on the bedcloth oilcloth.
