But with all the positive qualities of care for such products requires special. The manufacturers claim that you can wash the pillows from the holofiber as much as you like, but this is not at all the case.

Washing holofiber pillows - myths and reality

The holofiber consists of small spiral-shaped polyester fibers. In pillows they unite in balls, soft and fluffy. Manufacturers assure us that after compression, these balls quickly return to their original shape, so that the product always looks bulky, fluffy, soft to the touch. This is not quite the case: if you just put it in your hands, it will recover in its original form, but after several washings in a machine with active unscrewing, the springs are knocked together into tight lumps, after which not only does the pillow look deteriorate, but it is simply impossible to use by appointment: it becomes flabby, sagging, and the crumpled filler feels to the touch. This is the first myth about holofiber pillows.

The second myth is 5-6 washes per year. It is absolutely not necessary to wash the pillows every 2-3 months, because according to the information on the material, the dirt does not accumulate in them as much as in ordinary down and feather pillows, and insects do not start. Therefore, it is enough to wash 1-2 times a year.

Secrets of washing pillows from holofiber
