How to make a paste for shugaring at home

Sugar hair removal is a leader in the field of cosmetology, and it is not surprising. Shugaring paste is easy to use, and relatively cheap ingredients make it possible to prepare the composition at home. The main advantage of epilation in this way is the absence of ingrown hairs after the procedure, painlessness, long-lasting results and hypoallergenicity.

Sugar paste for single use

The final product has an average degree of viscosity, so in most cases it refers to universal methods of hair removal. You can use the paste in the bikini and axilla areas, on the legs and face.

• sugar - 60 gr.
• citric acid (powder) - 25 gr.
• filtered water - 45 ml.

1. Prepare a thick-walled pot, pour sugar (preferably cane) into it, pour in warm filtered water. Put the composition on the stove, simmer on low heat and stir constantly so that the sugar does not stick to the bottom.
2. With each subsequent minute, the syrup will darken, acquiring the soft color of caramel. You need to wait until all the crystals melt and the first bubbles appear. After this, the burner can be turned off.
3. Scoop up the sugar paste with a spoon, put it in a shallow dish, estimate the viscosity of the mixture. The applied drop should not spread over the surface.
4. Properly prepared composition will thicken relatively slowly. After the test for viscosity again, put the pan with pasta on the stove. Warm it up, start slowly pouring citric acid, while stirring with a wooden spoon.
5. When the mixture becomes homogeneous, turn off the hotplate, close the pan and leave the mass to cool at room temperature. Do not send the paste in the refrigerator or freezer for rapid cooling.
6. Constantly control the consistency of the mixture, it should not be very hard (like wood).Properly prepared composition is very slowly spreading over a tablespoon and practically does not flow down from it.

Sugar paste for repeated use

The composition is considered universal. It is suitable for removing excess vegetation on any part of the body, both male and female.

• sugar - 800 gr.
• citric acid - 110 gr.
• purified water - 220 ml.

1. Prepare a non-stick container with thick walls and bottom, pour water into the pan and put on a slow fire.
2. Mix the citric acid with sugar, pour the mixture into the pan, simmer on the fire until the crystals completely dissolve. Do not forget to constantly stir, do not let the mixture harden on the side parts and bottom of the tank.
3. After all the granules have dissolved, bring the mass to a boil over high heat. Collect the mixture from the walls, mix.
4. As soon as the first bubbles appear, put the burner on the minimum mark, cover with a lid. Boil the pasta for about 5 minutes, then open the container and mix the mass, wait another 7 minutes.
5. When you see that the mixture has turned brown, add fire and boil a little. You will feel the characteristic caramel smell.The paste will become almost colorless, it will lose its saturation with each minute of cooking. As soon as the mixture foams, set the fire on for at least 5 minutes.
6. The total time spent on cooking pasta varies within 15-25 minutes. After the stove is turned off, remove the mixture from the stove, close the lid and let it cool at room temperature. As soon as the mass begins to thicken, move it into a closing bowl or container.
7. After you transfer the paste, soak the pot with water to make it easier to clean it later. The above composition is designed for long-term use (about 4 months). The mixture can be used after 4 hours after boiling.
8. There are often situations when sugar paste is so thick that it cannot be used. If you came out exactly the same, pour in a mass of 45 ml. boiling water, put on the stove, bring to a boil. Cool, apply as prescribed in 3-5 hours.

The final product is stored in a dry and warm (22-26 degrees) place. Before using the composition, heat it in a steam / water bath or in a microwave.

Sugar paste for men

The sugar paste recipe is designed for its subsequent use in the zone of the armpits and bikinis in men. Since the hair is quite dense, it is necessary to use a viscous thick mixture.

• lemon juice - 55 ml.
• granulated sugar - 450 gr.
• pure water - 65 ml.

1. Prepare an enameled saucepan with a thick bottom, add sugar and water into it, mix. Put the tank on a small fire, languish for 5 minutes, do not forget to interfere.
2. After the expiration date, add the power of the burner, mix again and bring the mass to the appearance of the first bubbles (partial boiling).
3. As soon as this happens, turn down the heat again, scrape the contents from the walls, send to the bulk. Boil the product until it turns brown and smells like caramel.
4. You will need 7-10 minutes to completely dissolve the sugar crystals. After this point, turn off the stove, again stir the paste and pour a thin stream of lemon juice to it.
5. Close the lid, let it stand for about 1.5-2 hours, then perform a viscosity test. Scoop up the product with a spoon, lift it vertically and check the consistency.Properly cooked pasta does not spread, it is easy to roll into a ball and relatively hard to knead.
6. If you get too liquid mass, adjust it by adding sugar and lemon juice in a ratio of 10: 1. If the composition turned out to be very thick (in the frozen state it resembles a wooden surface), dilute it with water. In both cases, the product must be boiled and cooled.

Sugar paste soft density

Sugar paste of this type is used in cosmetology to remove hair on the face, hands and in the bikini zone (in the line of underwear). The composition is not suitable for underarms, deep bikini, legs.

• lemon - 1 pc.
• cane sugar - 360 gr.
• drinking water - 35 ml.

1. Take a container with a non-stick or enamelled coating, pour cane sugar into it and pour in water, mix. Put the pot on a medium heat, heat the mixture slightly.
2. After 3-5 minutes, the sugar will begin to boil, do not cease to interfere. As soon as the first bubbles appear, reduce the heat, boil the mass until the granules completely dissolve.
3. Turn off the burner. Squeeze the lemon juice in a convenient way, strain it to prevent the pulp from entering the final product. Pour the liquid into the sugar syrup, mix again.
4. Cover the container with the paste lid, wait 2-3 hours. After the expiration of the transfer mass in a sealed container, use as directed.

How to shugaring at home

After cooking the paste, you will probably be wondering about the technology of the epilation of the sugar method. Consider a basic instruction that is suitable for all zones.

1. Grab a tablespoon of a small amount of pasta, make a ball out of it. As soon as you begin to knead the mass, it will acquire luster and brighten. Ideally prepared composition structure resembles plasticine.
2. Next, take baby powder without fragrances, apply it to the treated area. Rub into the skin, avoid the accumulation of talc in large quantities.
3. Roll the ball against hair growth on a slightly whitish skin. Wait 2 minutes until the paste hardens partially. You can perform the procedure at several sites at the same time to reduce the elapsed time.
4. Apply the powder to your hands, pick up the edge of the frozen paste, pull the strip along the hair growth in three counts.After that, immediately press the epilation area with your palm to reduce the painful sensations.
5. It is important to understand that excess vegetation should be removed from the root, and not cut off in the middle. If you see that the paste is still not sufficiently hardened, wait extra time, do not rush.
