The Ussuri cat is also called the striped exclusive due to its specific and very extravagant color. It stands out among the breeds of a different type, because the pattern on the wool is somewhat similar to a toyger. Despite this, the Ussuri did not gain popularity for unknown reasons. Plus to this - the territory of their habitat is limited. The breed can be saved only in those cases, if non-self-interested breeders take Ussuri under their “wing” or the good Samaritan does not sponsor the whole thing.

The man did not take part in the origin of the breed, we can say that it was bred independently. The offspring was the result of the crossing of domestic and wild cats. The origin is easily confirmed, it suffices to consider the characteristics of the animal and external signs.

From the mouth of some breeders it can be concluded that there is another theory of the origin of this breed.Allegedly, she was bred by crossing Siberian and Amur wild cats. But there is no evidence of this, except that a powerful physique and strong character.

The first rumors about this breed began in Moscow back in 1993. Animals were brought to the exhibition straight from the Amur region. A year later, they found their standards in our country, the rest of the world does not perceive them as a full-fledged breed.
