Ground Fibers - description of where the toxicity of the fungus grows

Today we will look at where the earth fiber plant grows and how dangerous it can be. It is worth noting that such fruit bodies can provoke a rather serious poisoning. There were cases when the accidental consumption of the fungus was fatal. Consider how this instance looks and examine all its characteristics.

 Earthen fiber

Description

  1. Considered fruit bodies during their growth increase the cap of a small size. The maximum diameter cannot exceed 4 cm. In very young specimens it has the shape of a cone. These hats are somewhat similar to bells.
  2. With age, the mushroom hat takes on a more prostrate shape. At the same time in the center remains a small bump. Hats are covered with thin and delicate skin. It may be colored purple, pinkish, yellowish or white. In addition, the surface is silky fiber.
  3. In young fruit bodies, the edges of the cap are lowered along with the rest of the coverlet. With age, these edges dry up and crack. As for the pulp of such a fungus, it has a brittle and white flesh. It tastes spicy and has an unpleasant aroma. You can also feel the light smell of the earth.
  4. From the bottom of the cap you can see a large number of wide plates. They are poorly attached to the leg. Plates can be gray or white. When the fungus matures, they acquire a brownish or brown color.
  5. Fruit bodies have a small foot that is cylindrical in shape. The thickness can be 5 cm. At the same time, the length is only a maximum of 6 cm. It can be curved or straight. If you look closely, then at the bottom of the legs you can see the thickening.
  6. The foot is almost always painted white. In the upper part, you can see powdery powder. In young fruit bodies, the stem is almost completely filled with longitudinal fibers of white color. As for the old copies, they are empty. In addition, with age, legs can acquire a brownish tint.

Subspecies of earthen fiber

  1. There is a second subspecies of the earth fiber. In such fruit bodies, the cap is often painted not in white, but in purple, lilac or purple. If the mushroom is old enough or even old, then the plates that are under the cap are painted in a bright orange-brown color.
  2. The leg is almost exactly the same color as the hat itself. Sometimes it may be a little darker. As for the distribution area, fruit bodies and their brethren in most cases prefer the middle climatic zone. In this case, such instances do not interfere with the growth in a colder place.
  3. In addition, the fruits are mainly found in mixed and coniferous forests. Mushrooms prefer to create mycelium with pine trees. Also, specimens can easily grow on the roadsides, which are located in such forests.
  4. These fruit bodies can be found in the European part of Russia, East Asian, North African and North American forests. As for fruiting, the mushrooms can be found alone or in small groups. Fruits grow from mid-summer to mid-autumn.

Virulence

 The toxicity of earth fiber

  1. It is not necessary to exclude the most important fact from attention, fruit bodies are extremely poisonous and they are not used in any form for food. The pulp of the fungus has in its composition 20 times more muscarin (toxic substance) than in panther and red mushroom. This enzyme destroys the human vegetative system.
  2. With all this, even after prolonged heat treatment, toxic compounds are not destroyed and remain in the composition of the fungus. The first signs of poisoning are diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, high body temperature, and abdominal pain. If you have something like this, go to the hospital immediately.

Similar views

  1. As for similar edible fruit bodies, the specimens in question are fortunately unlike any other. When you go to the forest, you will not mix up a poisonous mushroom with anything. Therefore, do not worry that you can get poisoned. Be careful with a quiet hunt.
  2. The only thing worth mentioning is that the fruity bodies with the white color of the cap are a bit like pure Myzen, which belongs to the category of inedible fungi. However, the latter has a grayish-brown hat. At the same time it is wet, and the edges have grooves. This instance has a smell of radish, and the leg is hollow.

Earthen fibril is classified as dangerous and poisonous fruit bodies. Take extra care when picking mushrooms. On the other hand, these fruits are difficult to confuse with edible. Therefore, do not worry ahead of time.
